Seeing two charges on your bank statement can be alarming, but don’t worry—we can help you figure out exactly what happened!
The first step is to check the inbox of the email address you used at checkout.
1. Did you receive multiple confirmation emails?
If you see more than one order confirmation email with different order numbers, it means multiple orders were accidentally placed. Please review the order details and Contact Us right away so we can help cancel the duplicate order before it goes into production.
2. Did you only receive one confirmation email?
If you only have one order confirmation, please rest assured that we only processed your payment once. The “double charge” you are seeing is almost certainly a temporary authorization hold (or pending charge) from your credit card company or bank.
-
What is an authorization? When you make an online purchase, banks often place a temporary hold on the funds to verify your card before the actual charge is officially captured.
-
When will it go away? This pending charge will naturally disappear and drop off your bank statement within a few business days (though some banks can take up to a billing cycle).
Since this hold is placed entirely by your bank, we recommend waiting for the funds to be released or contacting your bank directly for further assistance!
