Spilling coffee on your favorite personalized pillow is definitely a stressful moment, but don’t panic! If you act quickly, you can usually lift the stain without damaging the custom design.

Here is what you need to do:

Step 1: Blot immediately (Do not rub!)

Grab a clean, dry paper towel or microfiber cloth and gently blot the spill to absorb as much liquid as possible. Never rub or scrub the stain, as this will push the coffee deeper into the fabric fibers and could distort your printed design.

Step 2: Remove the cover

If your pillow features a removable case, unzip it and take the insert out immediately. This prevents the coffee from soaking through to the inner cushion, which is much harder to clean.

Step 3: Spot clean with a gentle solution

Mix a simple cleaning solution using cold water and a few drops of mild dish soap (you can also use a mixture of equal parts cold water and white vinegar).

• Dip a clean cloth or sponge into the solution.

• Gently dab the stained area from the outside edge of the spill working inward to prevent it from spreading.

Step 4: Rinse and Air Dry

Once the stain is lifted, use a separate cloth dampened with plain cold water to gently dab the area and remove any soapy residue. Lay the pillow cover flat to air dry completely.

⚠️ Important Care Warnings:

• No Heat: Do not use a hairdryer or put the cover in the dryer until you are 100% sure the stain is gone. Heat will permanently set a coffee stain.

• No Bleach: Never use bleach or harsh chemical cleaners, as they will fade or completely ruin your personalized print!
